I'm extremely biassed, but I think he's awesome. He's not having his best year stats-wise, but on that lineup he doesn't really have to. He'll definitely go down as one of the best catchers (defensively and offensively) of all time.

And to the person who said they like Granderson: right on. We met him (and Carlos Guillen) during BP on Monday. What a class act.

Great catcher and headed for the HOF someday. One of the best throwing arms in the history of the game and a great asset to baseball the way he plays the game.

He's great! He's a class player and one of the greatest defensive and offensive catchers of all time. It would be great to see him a first ballot HOF.

Ivan Rodriguez is a great veteran catcher, but he doesn't deserve to be the starter for the AL All-star team, not this year. Mauer, Martinez, or Varitek are better candidates this season.

What's not to like?? He's the BEST at his POSITION-definately will be in the HOF!! He has countless gold gloves & All Star appearances to prove it! :D His defense is class act and he's usually a consistant hitter. Truly an asset to the Tigers!

GO TIGERS!
