Yes, I'm bound to say I will not be missing her face on the telly. Gordon's wife looks really good and, as for the new PM himself ... Well, he's just a well-worn teddy bear!!!

I think the relentless Cherie bashing from the likes of the Daily Mail over the last 10 years has been a disgrace. Trouble is she is a highly intelligent working mother with left of centre political views and a professional interest in human rights. Everything the misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, right wing Daily Mail hates.
