ABSOLUTELY! I have loved twice, and I knew it the second I saw both women.......years apart, but I knew it instantly!

I believe that some if not most people get a "certain" feeling when they meet the "one"..... cuz I know I did......

I 1st saw my man on myspace where I came across his profile & I was just taken away by pics of him....I was so intrigued....he seemed like the type of person I had been hoping to meet all my life....I was bold enough to send a friends request & left it at that....

As the days progressed, we did the typical myspace online flirting...& he eventually asked me for my #. We talked on the phone a couple times & after about a week or so he asked if we can go out on a date! When he arrived to pick me up, it was like a movie...not only was he even more handsome in person....he was carrying over 12 dozen yellow roses in hand! I was blown away....cuz at 23 yrs old, I had never been taken out on an official date & a guy bringing me roses!....lol
As a typical woman, I wasn't ready completely, so as my 5 yr old daughter probes my new date...I got ready to go...well, it just didn't end there...we got to his car, he opened up my door like a true gentleman, he was playing Sade in the car (Sade, My Fave!!!) At the club we went to, he excused himself everytime he had to leave my side, was so attentive, & treated me like a queen! We were just dancing & having a great time when we locked eyes, the chemistry was perfectly in place & we kissed...I swear it was like the whole room was spinning, full of fireworks but we were still, in complete synch...it was surreal..really....& in that moment I knew I had met a real man..& the man I had been asking God to one day bless me with....Today, we are still together, we've been living together for over a year & raising our children ( we each have 2 from previous relationships) as a family....I got the real thing & I just knew it from the get....it's funny cuz you don't know it at the time but now that I see what type of relationship we have & share.....& he still treats me like that queen he did that night....he's truly my best friend.....& I'm truly blessed

PS....Don't get me wrong...things weren't peaches & cream so I'm not here telling a fairy tale....but it's my version of it...lol

I don't believe in love at first SIGHT but maybe love after you get to know them. Depending on how well you match it could be love after an hour or a month.

YES, SINCE LOVE HAS TO DO WITH HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT ''YOURSELF'' WHEN WITH SOMEONE...NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW THEY FEEL ABOUT YOU.

So, you see them and the room is empty, except for their presence, their smile, their luminous skin, their least gesture that sets you horny for life! NOW, THAT IS LOVE AT FIRST SITE AND MANY AN ABUSED WOMAN CAN TELL YOU THAT IT REALLY DOES EXIST. MANY A JILTED MAN CAN TELL YOU THEY STAYED THROUGH THE CHEATING BECAUSE THEY LOVED HER.

Although we each have our own criteria of what we want in a mate, that list can go unnoticed when confronted with someone that just makes us glow when we even think about them. That is why we see people that we know nothing about and take the chance to expose ourselves to them...not knowing if it will be returned. IT IS THE GOOD FEELING WE HAVE ABOUT OURSELVES. PEOPLE WITH AN AGENDA LOVE SIMPLY BECAUSE SOMEONE LOVES THEM. THIS IS A CONVENIENCE LOVE NOT TRUE LOVE.

ditto to BabeHeart.....I sure do like her answers. I want to be her fan but she won't let anyone add her.

But to answer your question....no. I do not believe in love at first sight. Attraction, lust and a keen desire to discover more...absolutely. Love is something that takes time to build up to. It is the smoldering embers of the blazing fire that was lust in the beginning that can be flamed back to a roaring fire. Impossible to start with embers.

Nope, attraction yes. Not love at first site, could be a complete psycho and so you have to date and really get to know the person before you decide if its love.

Honestly, no. I believe in ATTRACTION at first sight. Really, I believe that you have to get to know someone to love them. How can you love the qualities in someone when you don't know their qualitites?

Not a chance! lust yes, interest yes, curiosity yes ... but not love. Love is an enduring commitment where one cares about the other person more than them self ... that is not possible at first sight ... now lust or curiosity or interest or whatever might grow into love, but it's not love.

Absolutely! The first time I saw my husband I knew there was something. It took 2 years, but we got together! Always listen to your heart.

i beleive in attraction at first sight. not love. i don't belive in love at first sight because you don't even know this person. all you are thinking about is how that person looks and not about their personality. love devlops after getting to know each other.

Normally, no. You hear people say it and I am a skeptic and think it's more like lust at first sight, HOWEVER....

I met my wife at the gym after spotting her from across the way. She was gorgeous. I told my buddy who was with me, "Look at that girl. That's my future wife." I wasn't kidding; I honestly felt like I would marry her. Turned out he knew her and introduced us, and we started dating and got married 2 years later.

So... generally speaking, no. But in my case, yes :-)
