Will baseball league lose more players to lacrosse?

Question

The baseball is most popular sport in America behind football. But if you are worry that baseball would become less popular sport in america because people starts to playing the lacrosse.

The lacrosse can be dangerous sport because of hitting a lot, many pently, and etc.

My opinion is;

the baseball leagues don't want to lose more players to playing lacrosse because the baseball is part of the America Culture.

What do you think about that?

I understand lacrosse is getting to be big in some parts of the country and more and more kids are starting to take it up. That is really great and you know what, there is plenty of room for it in our country. Baseball will always be the game of choice in this country but anything that can get kids outdoors these days is a good thing.

I've played both, baseball before college, lax in college, my kid plays lax, I coach baseball.
Baseball is losing, and will continue to lose, players to lacrosse.
Of course baseball doesn't want to lose players but not much can be done.
LaCrosse is even more a part of American culture, it goes back to the Indians, and is huge on the east coast, spreading fast everywhere else. I wish lax was a fall sport so it would take kids from football and soccer, not baseball.

Ive seen this happening too. Especially in the north east. Lacrosse is growing like crazy and there are definalty kids making the jump from baseball to lacrosse.

Baseball is part of our history, most of the population doesn't know crap about lacross, I don't think baseball has anything to worry about

i always wanted to play lacrosse it looks pretty fun
but i never went to a school that had a team and i never met anybody that played it but it looks fun as hell - i may have ditched baseball for it i dont know
