What type of people lived in Britain during the time of the Roman Invasaion? These people were in two tribal groups although they shared a similar name. What are these names? Where did they each end up?

tham 125 is correct. Award him 10 points. You have to remember that the population of Rome at the time of Augustus was 500,000. The Celtic population of Britain was maybe a million. Julius Caesar took, maybe, a legion, 5000 men, to the island when he explored there. The Roman invasion was that of Claudius, who sent an army there to subdue the place. But there were only a few Romans who stayed and settled it into estates. The point is that those who lived there before Julius Caesar remained there still. The Romans ruled them until AD 444, but then it was over.
