What compels you to answer questions on "Yahoo Answers", I would like your most sincere answer?

I feel like my "knowledge" may be helping people . LOL.
I just enjoy it. It keeps me busy and helps me to not think about my problems.
I also get help when I post a question.

I don't feel compelled, first of all.
What I love is being able to give advice. I feel like Dear Abby or a radio call in host.
I'm a big know-it-all. And I actually do know quite a bit about a lot of subjects. :-)
I also like to show off.
I like to think that I can help people. I love to do research on the Internet. I think it's fun and easy but I see that not everyone has the skills for it. So I'm helping someone out.
Sometimes I like to answer questions that give me a soapbox to rant from. It's better than letters to the editor, which I devote a good amount of time to also.
That why I answer questions On Yahoo Answers.

I sincerely want to see just what others are asking. I feel compelled to answer because I need to see my own thoughts and opinions in print.

Honestly, sometimes it makes me feel good about myself knowing my life is not that screwed up and I am a good speller.
