Can anyone suggest a feeding schedule fo a 5 month old? How much, how often. We are just starting on fruits and veggies. Dr, says 3 tbls TOTAL a day (half cereal and half fruit or veg), and four 6 oz bottles a day. Doesn't seem enough to me. What worked for you?

every baby is different - if you think he's still hungry - feed him a little more. he will tell you when he's done :)

I have a 9 month old and she never fit into their feeding schedules.... she was always eating more than they said she should, but i just fed her whenver she was hungry. I wouldnt worry about that too much.. maybe offer her the fruits and veggies twice a day and the bottle as much as she wants. I couldnt let my baby go hungry and i felt like all i could do was feed her when she wanted it, so i did :) just do what feels right for you and your baby :)

3 Tbls is probably enough you don't want to overwhelm your child's digestive system with new foods to quickly. As long as the child is getting enough formula. The baby will let you know if she is hungry still then I would give her additional formula.
