I actually read a rumor somewhere that purports Dumbledore's brother is actually Crookshanks. I'm not sure how well that holds up, but I like to think that Crookshanks is an animagus of someone! No offense to the cat lovers on here, but he seems a little too intelligent for just your average feline!

Guess we'll have to wait and see! :)

Cheers!! :)

It would be possible if JK Rowling didn't specifically say that Crookshanks isn't an Animagus.

That's really interesting. I never thought of that before. I mean, Sirius said that he "saw Pettigrew for what he really was" Could a normal animal really do that? The last pet I remember being that smart was Scabbers, and that was Peter. Hmm, maybe he is. But who would that be? Now you have me thinking. Normally i would say hope that helps, but this time i say, thanks for giving me a new rumor to discuss!

Well, in Rowling's books, you could wonder if any of the animals are an animagus.
Like Hedwig, or Fang, or Crookshanks.
So, I guess we'l just have to wait and find out!

This was a popular opinion awhile ago, but J.K. Rowling personally debunked it. He's not all cat though, he's part Kneazle.
