Have you ever re-written the lyrics to a song you liked?

No I haven't ever sat down and rewritten the song, however when I was little and I would try to fit in with all my friends (i did not have a wide knowledge of nsync or backstreet boys) I would sing, and they would say no that's not the right lyrics! And i would come up with the phony excuse that I liked to rewrite the lyrics, it sounded better. hahhaha .... sheeesh I was a loser... hahaha

Well, you get the point. I do this kind of thing all the time. Don't get me started on the Cyndi Lauper remake "Squirrels Just Want to Have Fun.

My dad changed the lyrics to Cinderelly from Cinderella.
I think it was Cinderelly, Cinderelly, night and say your super smelly! Haha I can't remember the rest, but me personally, no. I wish i had the creative lyric-rewriting gene to do that haha

Our family changes lyrics to tunes all of the time....making them personal or funny.....We are also huge fans of Weird Al Yankovich.
