What are my options? I dont want to have them in the bcc field as I find that abit odd. I have received emails where the email is in the to field yet there are multiple recipients. Any thoughts or ways to take care of this.

The only consistent way is to place the addresses that you dont want other's to see or know, in the bcc: and then send the email to yourself in the main address line and this will hide the addresses.

However, many internet service providers and email providers limit the amount of emails that you can send in a month. So, if this is something that you do on a regular basis you may wish to consider using a service like constant contact or icontact. Their sites www.icontact.com , www.constantcontact.com .

Nothing odd about the bcc field. As a matter of fact, many people are recommending you do that to avoid spam and other unsollicited mail. Most are grateful that their e-mail address is not published all over the place. I have been doing that for quite a while now at the request of certain friends. None of them have been insulted.

"I don't want to have them in the bcc field as I find that a bit odd.", sorry but that's the only way. Using the CC: field only exposes everyone to Spam Bots.

Tip: Mail to yourself in the To: field and add everyone else in the BCC: field. That way you'll see what they see.

You have to put them in the BCC field. It might be odd, but it's what the BCC field was designed to do. They won't be able to see other recipients.

If you put the addresses in the field, everyone will see the other person getting the message, but if you put them into the field, every one will get the message, but no one will know that it was sent to someone else also

Depends, are you using Microsoft Outlook? I don't think you can do that on Outlook.
