I would wait 2-3 weeks to take a test. I had a similar thing happen to me. I had my last period on May 18. I had very, very light spotting on June 7th and 8th. It then returned on June 15th thru about June 18th. Once again, very light spotting. Didn't even get on a pad, was just noticable when I wiped. I haven't had any spotting since then. My period was due on June 23rd. My cycles are longer and somewhat irregular. Well, I'm past due and I have had 3 negative tests. If I were you, I would deffinately wait 2-3 weeks. This will give some time for the pregnancy hormone to build up and the test should be positive when you take it, assuming that you are pregnant. I guess we're kinda in the same boat! I hope yours works out for you. Good luck!

If the first day of your last period was on May 28, you should have ovulated around June 11, give or take a couple of days. It takes 7-10 days for an embryo to implant in the womb, which would have occurred around June 18, which is when you should have seen implantation bleeding. From there, it takes a few days for pregnancy hormones to build up enough to be detected. If you are not pregnant, your period should begin any day now. If you are pregnant, a home pregnancy test should be accurate if you took it now.

Firstly is you are trying for a baby, i wish you all the best and i pray that you are in fact pregnant.

What you have described sounds like implantation bleeding. Particularly the nausea and metallic taste in your mouth suggests that you are pregnant.

the pregnancy test will show positive after the embryo has fully implanted. Another couple of days and test again, if negative, its unlikely that you are pregnant.

goodluck with everything

I would wait a week or two and if you still feel like you may be pregnant-take a pregnancy test. If it comes back neg. or positive go see you Dr.
