Does anybody know if there were any inventions made as a result of the lightbulb?

Thanks Cheesehead, I probably should have anticipated such answers (although it did make me smile:-)) So, please no more answers such as light switch, lamp shade or any kind of obvious statement such as boxes for light bulbs!

well projectors were made AFTER the light bulb, and they use light bulbs. Even the high tech computer projectors that are popular use light bulbs.

Also, I believe Cameras have been using Light Bulbs for as long as they have been out.

The thermionic valve (tube) was a short step from the light bulb starting the electronic age. At first it made it possible to modulate sound and so enabled audio radio technology.
