Its just a picture on a screen or in a magazine, and if you can't compete with that you can't be much of a woman. You have to be incurably insecure, it would seem to me.

If he chooses porn over you, its time to stop making excuses and fidgure out how you lost that battle. Being made of flesh and blood, you really do have an unfair advantage.

Ashley -it is still just something on the screen.. not flesh and blood in the room with him
Wildflower - I don't care where he gets his appetite, as long as he always comes home for supper! If you think he doesn't get aroused by other women walking dow the street or lying on the beach, you are delusional.

Ladygeorge... wow... first, I have met people who make porn, and I can promise you there are PLENTY of very normal people who do it and enjoy doing it. And I's bet that most of the people with drug problems had them before they ever go into porn. I see nothing degrading about it.

Just aHunch - first, I don't think most women have a problem with it. Second, anything I do that makes me want sex with my husband is good with him.

Angie - why does it have to be one or the other? I don't see it as a competition, and, as I said, if you do see it as a competiton, ans you can't win, the problem is not the porn.

Porn CAN become a threat to a relationship when all the man wants to do is watch or look at the screen and please HIMSELF rather than do any or receive any physical attention.
I've told my man up front that porn doesn't bother me. In fact, I'll watch it with him. But if it ever gets to the point where we can't even be intimate without it, or I'm doing without because he and his hand are having too much fun, it's got to go.

I have no problem with a guy doing porn he just isn't going to be with me. It's not insecurity. It's preference. If I have to get off on a guy on the 'puter that is a problem. You are doing porn b/c you can't do the real thing. It's not the other person fault, its yours, when you start prefering the screen or mag, that's disturbing. Love in the real world is better and if it aint' happening at home, move on...Get a life that doesn't affect other people. Put your views on the score card immediately, if it doesn't work with the person, leave. Its preference it's why some girls are lesbian or guys are gay, it's preference.

I am neither threatened or consider it cheating.
I do however think less of any one that lets it slide.
I will not support the continued debasement of women for men.
I understand that it is here to stay that t does not mean I will ignore and accept it
That little picture is part of a huge industry (machine). This industry is dehumanizing, cruel and humiliating and riddled with drug & alcohol addiction. Do you think women actually do that crap straight???
You sound very narrow minded & uneducated.
If you allow this in your home without so much as peep then you are part of the problem. Your guy needs porn? well I guess his little head leads the big head.
And it's leading you too.

My answer is that I do not want my man being turned on by a woman's picture on the screen and then wanting to be with me... And, I'd bet he doesn't want me turned on by another man and then coming to him... It's not a matter of competing - I'm not perfect, but have never had complaints, if you know what I mean... Perhaps its my ego, but I think I'm hot enough that I'm enough for my man... and if he doesn't think so, he's a loser.
ADD: OTFLMAO - and you think that there is the same amount of arousal from seeing a naked woman performing porn and a woman walking down the street? LOL.. who's delusional?

If a women considers watching porn cheating then she needs to sit down and watch some herself. It can be very exciting and give you some ideas to try.

Sex is an excellent tool to get a man to do what a woman wants, but if he gets relief from something like porn it weakens the control she has over him.
Anything that weakens the control over the man is thus not fair and is cheating.
In the end the woman would have to convince the man another way, since the trump card of sex can't be used.

Christian huh?
Then you must be familier with what Jesus said about it, "if a man even looks upon a woman with lust in his heart he has already committed adultery."
The mind is where sex takes place, the body is merely a manifestation of what is going on in the mind.
It appears to me that Christian Betty either enjoys the porn as well, or maybe she enjoys it and doesn't want anyone to know that she enjoys it. She sure is putting up a big fight about it, it sounds like she is arguing for her own rights to me.

Well, some guys become addicted to porn... and suddenly they'd rather have a picture than a real woman.
Other than that, religously, some people just find it wrong.
Personally, porn bothers me none. In fact, I love it!

A large part of it is how girls are raised (at least in America). People seem to think it's ok for boys to take part in that kind of thing, but not girls. And then girls are not told that just about all boys are into it and it's not a big deal, so girls go into relationships and marriage unprepared.
