yes, I do and I don't know why. I try to convinve myself to feel otherwise but it doesn't always work. All part of being human.

I do sometimes, and I usually pin it down to the fact that the other person says and does things to make me feel guilty even though I'm not at fault.
Usually, when I feel like this, I think of someone who I look up to or who I consider very strong in character and ask myself: 'What would 'John' do in this situation?' I build myself up on this and encourage myself not to feel guilty about the situation if I truly am not to blame.
I realised that if I apologise or feel guilty for something that I am not at fault for, I am allowing other people to take advantage of me and actually disrespect my feelings.
I hope this helps to give you some strength when faced with those guilty feelings, to stand firm with whatever decisions you make and see it through to the end.

At times I have, or at least I thought it was guilt. Really it's been more like empathy for what the other person was going through, and sometimes it was just a feeling of helplessness over having to watch someone deal with something and knowing that I couldn't change it. Guilt or not, it feels like crap!

That used to happen to me when I was a teenager, and in my young twenties. Now, if I didn't do something, I feel sorry for the person who was wronged, but I don't feel guilty because I had nothing to do with it. Let it go.

Absolutely. Sometimes I know for certain that Im innocent, but the situation cant help me from feeling that way. Like if moneys missing at someones house during a party....I know I was there and I know for sure I didnt take it, but just the thought that the host doesnt know who took it...only who was there at the time....makes me feel strange because he or she has to consider me as a suspect because I was there. I dont like that feeling at all.

of course! Everyone does. We are only human and can easily fall into illogical thinking. no on is perfect...right!! I have a huge guilt complex. I get sad over things that are not my fault. I try and focus on being positive and more rational.

Oh yeah. When I watch Jerry Springer Show, Maury or something like that, I feel so guilty. I feel mad that I wasn't in that crowd helping them out.
