Cramps and pains are normal in the abdomen area (and also the legs)...the natural blood flow to your legs isn't as strong as it was before so you tend to have pains in your legs. Pains in your abdomen (which are cramp like and should get no worse than the worse menstral cramp you have ever had...per my doctor) are normal. Your uterus is stretching and making room for baby. At first they hurt now they make me smile knowing that my little one is growing and my body is adjusting well to help her nine month stay comfortable. Sooner or later knowing that this is what is happening you will smile when you feel those little cramps in your abdomen that once hurt you.

first of all - CONGRATS!!!!! i was freaked out when i got pains like that when i was prego too. it's just your muscles stretching to make room for your growing baby. it usually hurt more on one side than the other for me. if they start feeling more like period cramps, i would call the doctor to be safe :)

Yes, period like cramps, pains and pulls are normal.

Bleeding and doubled over are not.
