Work on your rain dance. The basic idea is to wear as little as possible, use drums and a rattle and dance crouched over (as if weak from thirst) chanting "Rain, rain, we need rain." It may not bring on the rain, but at least you will feel like you're doing something.
After you get all hot and tired from dancing, get out the garden hose and water down both yourself and your plants.

Same here. The weatherman thinks it might rain tomorrow. All my flowers this year are gone. Burnt to a crisp.
