Personally can't go an hour, but I have a friend that can spent days in her house and never call anyone or go out.

Ah! I'm just pulling your leg. I can't shut up for more than a few seconds, even when I'm sleeping. Drives my wife nuts, it does. If I'm not talking I'm singing. Bellowing, my Mom used to call it.
See! I can't even give a short civil answer to a simple question. Never can shut me up.
Silence for me is definitely not golden, but more like a void to be filled.

i'm a talkaholick. When i dont talk my friends KNOW there's somthing REALLY REALLY wrong with me. I either talk to much or not at all. thats the way i work. Once i didn't talk for 5 months (during school. Sat through a few detentions). I found out my parents were getting divorced. I have a tough childhood. cant wait till its' over!

That depends on what you mean by talking to someone. If you don't count telephone calls or saying hi or other greetings to neighbors or talking to cashiers when buying something, 1 month.
I'm a guy, so it was easy and did'nt bother me at all.

this morning around 7:30, it's 2 in the afternoon now and i'm headed to my mom's house to pick up the kids. it's too quiet in the house, i need noise!
