If you mean to "stich" them together like apanorama, then there are 2 ways.
READ the HELP FILES or MANUAL for a STICH TOOL, Photoshop lements certainly has it, bot sure of teh full version, that helps line up the clips.
Manual method, if 2 pics to go side by side.
Create new image, same height as orig but 2x wider,
paste in 1st image to left of new file
Past in other image as a selection and manouvere it till it lines up.
Save image
Crop as required.
Have fun.

By creating your photos as a layer you can add two photos together and also more than two. All you have to do is to open your photos unlock the layers and grab one photo to layer of another then clean the backg ground of one photo by using magic wind tool then your see a cool new two attached photos.

Make a new file // cut both images one by one and paste in to one file which u have created blank 1st/

you increase canvas size first, drag the second image to the first one and there u have it.
