Since it is summer you are probably going through a growth spurt. My kids have all grown in the first month of being out of school. My 12 year old shot up an inch in June. I wouldn't worry unless you start feeling other odd things like the urge to urinate more than usual (this is a sign of diabetes) or feel dizzy or really anything that is not normal for you. Also if you have been on vacation, you will probably lose weight when you return home. When you eat out you are getting alot more salt and calories but it will even itself out since you are so young. Good luck!

Usually, when you lose that much in a few days, it's water weight, not real weight.
Just do it the healthy way -- sounds like you are.
Decrease calories, increase exercise.
And DON'T weight yourself every day. Stop that!!!! Because one day you will lose 5 pounds and the next day you will gain 2, and you will make yourself CRAZY!!!! Over nothing, because there are normal fluctuations from one day to the next, depending on fluid retention, whether you've had a BM, etc.
Weigh yourself once a week, first thing in the morning, naked -- that's it.
Good luck, stay well!

First off how did you do it?
But no its not safe... You are not supposed to lose more than about 3-4 pounds in 1 week... average safe weight loss is only 1-2 pounds a week.
You may have lost 5.6 lbs in 2 days, but I guarentee you will gain it back immediately and gain more!

IT depends on a lot of things: how old you are, how much you weigh, and what you did to lose it.
Note that when you lose a lot of weight initially when starting a diet, 90% of it is excess water weight, not fat.
Yes, i think you are fine. I would worry if you continued losing at that rate for more than a week. If you are trying to lose weight, the ideal amount is between 2 and 3 pounds a week.
but, i think you are fine :)

Not according to the Drs. A healthy weight to lose would be between 1 and 3 pounds a week.

well you cant determin that unless we know why u lost that much weight, 5 lbs isnt alot so i dont see why it would be safe, however if u continue to loose that much weight on a weekly basis, that is very unsafe, how did u loose it? you may have just lost water weight which is easy to do by heavy excersising, but easily gained back within a few days of retaining more water

It was probably just water weight. It's pretty easy to go up or down a few pounds every day or so.
It all depends on what you've eaten, how much you've digested, whether or not you've gone to the washroom. How much water your body is retaining.

To be healthy while losing weight, you should only lose 2 pounds a week. Any quicker than that and you will eventually hurt yourself. Are you trying to lose weight??

depends on how much weight you had to lose in the first place. chances are it was mostly water and that you will gain some of it back in the next few days.
