I had to have a c-section with my first son. It was not an emergency or anything he was just breech and refused to flip. I am now pregnant again and we are wanting to have a VBAC. I have been having pre-term symptoms but I wasnt sure if one could go into preterm labor after having a c-section.

Pre-term labor has nothing to do with what form of previous delivery you had. Labor is Labor...call your doctor and get checked.

Every pregnancy is different - but any pregnancy could end in preterm labor. All that really means is going to labor before your 40-week due date and whether you've had one c-section or six or none at all in previous pregnancies doesn't even come into play.

I'd certainly give your doctor a call. You don't say how far along you are, but depending on why you seem to be going into labor early, your doc might want you to reconsider the VBAC.

I have never had a cesearan but my sister carried her second child full term and had him vaginally..she had no problems with carrying him. Every pregnancy is different though. Consult your doctor.
