Most printers today do NOT come withthe cable, but if you are buying the machine, ask them at the point of sale, if they say NO, ask them to include one free. They might say no, but if you have to go back you WILL have to pay.

If they want to sell you the printer which is "unsuitable for purpose" out of the box as I would say it's incomplete (incidently old parallel printers usually came with a printer lead, which cost more to make than USB ones do, odd isn't it) they should include all you need.

I don't have Lexmark X4270 MFC, but I have Lexmark X5470. It did not have a USB cable included. If I did not have an old ### scanner that no longer works and if a USB cable from that scanner did not fit my new hardware, I'd be running around like mad looking for that #### USB cable.

No, you will not find it within the package as you buy your hardware. You do have to pay additional money for a separate USB cable; that is if you don't have any USB cable handy. I don't know why do they not include a USB cable. Wise ##### they are.

If it doesn't say it does, then no. most printers do not come with the connector cable. They can be purchased separately where you buy the printer.
