The guy admitted it so don't try that "it hasn't been proven crap"

Bonds said himself he never knowingly took steriods. Meaning HE TOOK THEM. And steroids don't help you hit homeruns? No, but they do push those would-be pop flys out of the park. And just because everyone else was doing it doesn't make it right. I tried that excuss with my parents and it didn't work.

Cause I know that A-Rod is gonna break his record. I could care less about Barry Bonds. Nobody is gonna care when he breaks the record, so I dont see why make such a big deal over it when we know A-Rod is gonna break it. I just wish that it had been Ken Griffey Jr. breaking the record cause if it werent for all those games he missed, he would be the one breaking the record, and he was one of the only great home run hitters in the 90's who we know definitley wasnt on roids. Plus, Barry is still one of the greatest players ever. Steroids make you stronger but they dont mean that you hit homeruns. You could jack some minor league kid up with steroids but he wouldnt be hitting 60 home runs a year. Barry still had to work very hard in the weight room and the batting cages to be able to perfect that home run swing.

I think it's pretty obvious that he's taken steroids. But still, that doesn't really mean too much. When you think about, I'm sure there are tons of players taking steroids, but non will ever get to the 755 homerun mark. It's like he's the best of the steroid takers based on homeruns. Some guys take steroids and still don't hit homeruns. Alex Sanchez got caught and he couldn't hit more than 8 homeruns a year.

You are going down a road that has no end. Can you also give me the names of every other player in MLB, that has never tested positive for drugs, that you want to put in the same category that you have placed Bonds. If you miss just one than your whole reasoning is flawed. Don't get me wrong, not only am I not a Bonds fan, I am also not a fan of anyone who cheats to win. But none of us can just go around with our own list and take that quantum leap to judgment and convict one player who never tested positive and let the others run free. For example; Craig Biggio is just three hits away from 3,000 and is one of the best guys in baseball, a great teammate and player. However, There is a very strong possibility he used steroids in the past, should he go on your list as well? Should he not be given consideration for the HOF when his time comes? Fact; neither Bonds or Biggio have tested positive and fans may never come to understand the real truth in this mess. What choice do we have but to accept the MLB drug testing policy as the only true source involving MLB players? To answer your question, I give Bonds all the credit in the world for his accomplishments until other information comes to prove otherwise. The question I have for you is, "Should players be held responsible for using steroids before a drug policy was implemented in MLB"?

Im from Pa so I'm not a Giants fan so I want to throw my two cents into this. First off no one knows that Barry is on seriod, you show me a steriods test that he's failed, your not going to hes passed every single one he has taken .. so the whole steriod thing isnt legit enough for me. Second, the man has hit 749 HR's and second on the list and hes an older player, so thats why he should be voted to the all star game. And one more thing, A Rod is going to break any record that involved HR, its just not going to happen, period. He's going to die off in about 2-3 years

So yes, I've voted Barry into the all star game for those two reasons, and I remember the days of him playing in Pittsburgh and I've been living in for 20 years now and I remember growing up watching him so that helps as well.

Why did non Cardinals fans support the biggest drug user of all time McGwire? Everyone knew he was a freak of nature and you still cheered.

I'm so sick of ignorant rednecks coming on here bashing Bonds who used for a short time..

Get over it. He's breaking to record so live with it.

I'll cheer for Bonds the jerk any day of the week before McGwire the coward who didn't have the balls to admit he used because they shrunk to the size of raisins from all of the steroids.

Show me an article where Barry Bonds said he took steroids. How do we know that Hank Aaron wasn't juiced, or Babe Ruth wasn't juiced. They took steroids in the 1930's, thats what Hitler gave to his perfect Human race theory. Lay off Bonds and just enjoy the the greatest hitter ever to play the game.

How can you support baseball when everyone in the 90's juiced. Baseball didn't have a problem when the juice was bringing popularity to the game but then they decided they should attack these guys. There's no problem with Bonds breaking the record now because he's not on juice any more.

im with the first guy. ARod (barring some kind of fluke incident) will break Bonds/Aaron/ whoever else's record

i can boo bonds for now and when he breaks the record he will get booed by the whole country outside of Giants fans

its obivous he took steroids. most of MLB did at one point in time

but the problem is he didnt stop. he's kept up with them until he came under fire

you cant explain the consistent growth of his head, bones, etc without consistent usage of 'roids

at this point idc because bonds is ruining the game of baseball. once he breaks the record he will retire and we will never have to mention that cheating bastard again until ARod destroys his record

i feel sorry for Hank Aaron

Records are made to be broken. We are witnessing history, so why not support it?

It is all just a witch hunt. There is no 100% concrete proof that he ever took steroids. If it is ever proven, then I will no longer support his effort.

Because everyone he plays against and with are also juiced and he's the only one even remotely close to breaking any of these records.

and because he's the best player i've ever seen, without a doubt.
