i know on a second pregnancy you can show faster but i think this is extreme. i would call for an ultrasound to see if multiples are in there.

i hate to ask but are you SURE you are 5 weeks along? my friend at church thought she was 2 months pregnant because she skipped her periods. but she started showing like this...it turned out to be a cyst on her ovary - they found out during the ultrasound to confirm due date. it was benign but still scary.

good luck! and keep us posted as to what's going on!!

They do say it's possible to get your period even after you've conceived...maybe you are further along than you think - or you could just be really bloated and retaining water so your stomach has popped out - and the multiple thing is definitely a possibility too...I started showing really early in my pregnancy and have had to deal with all kinds of comments about how I "look ready to pop" and I look "way bigger than I should" and this sh*t - it totally sucks...people can be totally tactless....anyway - don't stress about it - they'll know at your next Ultrasound if it's twins...and what that other person said about how you look 5 months - ridiculous...you do not. People are clueless.

I don't think even with twins or triplets that you would show that much at 5 weeks. Are you sure of how far along you are? Your doc should do an ultrasound to confirm dates and # of babies. Congrats and good luck.

The more pregnancies you have the sooner you will start to show. This is my second and I started showing at about 8 weeks, Now with my first I didn't show until about 18 weeks. Your body already knows what to do and you uterus has already been stretched out. Don't worry, you are fine! Enjoy your cute lil belly! Congrats!

If you're being honest, that does seem a little showy for your third pregnancy at five weeks. All things considered. But its not impossible. Every pregnancy is different.

Its possible you're more pregnant than the tests are showing. I'd request an U/S.

I gave birth to twins... they can tell if you are having twins in the first month of pregnancy. Has your docter seen you yet?

You sure the heck don't look 5 weeks you better think back to your last flo and recount ...you look like your about 5 months!

Could definately be multiples, that's a little much for just one even for it being your third pregnancy. I would request an ultrasound in the next couple weeks, you could be further along than you think also.

Gosh thats huge for 5 weeks!

You do show sooner with multiples, but that is very very big even for a multiple.
