My fourth pregnancy...yes fourth...I remember bleeding about 5 weeks or so. Went to the ER and they ran tests...alot, actually. They, too, could not give me any answers. The next day I went to my doctor...a great woman, she is...told me that sometimes when your uterus grows, it moves (of course, its growing), and in this movement it can cause bleeding. Nothing to be alarmed about. But it is good you went to the doctor. Before you have an anxiety attack, breathe. You will be going through another HGC real soon. If you worry, you will stress...not good for the baby. Take care.

You will have to go to get blood drawn for the next week every other day, then go get an internal ultrasound (fun) then head on back to the doctors. Stay off your feet, and try not to worry!!! If the blood was brownish, it is probably just old blood and some woman have their period the whole time they are pregnant. If it is red or you are cramping head back to the ER as this could be a sign of etopic pregancy as well as miscarriage. The number one thing to remember is that if your body is causing a spontaneous abortion, or miscarriage, it is because the fetus is not healthy, and it is natures way of natural selection. DON'T FRET!!! it will make matters worse. Good luck!

Hi. I had some light spotting or bleeding about a week after finding out I was 5 weeks pregnant with my first child. It was also red. It didn't turn out to be a problem. I had a totally healthy full term pregnancy. It could just be swelling of blood vessels possibly.

You can't have an actual period - a period is the release of an unfertilized egg. However, some women do experience bleeding that can be mistaken for a period. Any bleeding during pregnancy should always be discussed with a doctor though.

step back and take a deep breath, as heart breaking as it is sometimes miscarriages happen (i've had 3 before my successful pregnancy) Its nature's way of taking care of ur body. Also you could have just been spoting ur very early one and sometimes it happens if it is a miscarriage there really isn't ne thing that u can do to stop it im sorry......its very heard for them to detect ur baby's heartbeat that early a friend of mine found out she was pregnant then went to doc and level's were extrememly low and they told her she was gonna miscarry and she was going then to go in for a dnc luckily it got postponed and the baby was fine she's due in Oct. So honestly just take a deep breath and try and stop worrying that only worsens things.

maybe you're experiecing a period during pregnancy. It's not common during pregnancy but it's possible! Just don't stress about it. It'll only make things worse.
