You may need to remove it from the tank to protect it from the fish that's responsible for the nipping. You'll also want to watch it carefully for a week or so as fungus could invade the wound. A nipped tail won't cause the other fish in the tank to be at additional risk of disease.

Adding to what MM said, do you know what caused the "nip"? Sometimes poor water quality can cause fin rot which looks like another fish took a bite out of the tail.

His injured tail won't harm the other fish, but once they realize that he is injured, they will attack him even more. I would separate him for his own sake and treat him with an antibiotic and stress coat to prevent further damage.

no the guppy will be fine and so will the others sometimes guppies even bite at each others tails while breeding

It harm the other fish i dont think but i would put it in a hospital tank or a breeder box./net to stop it been bullied anymore i would also treat it with an antibiotic.
