My answer is Stephon Marbury. He had a chance with Kevin Garnett to do some big things in Minnesota but he was selfish so he left for more money & went to New Jersey & did nothing he then left NJ & Kidd came in & the very next season they went to the NBA finals. He came to Phoenix & they went to the playoffs one year then he leaves & in comes Steve Nash & they go from pretenders to contenders with the same team. Now he's in his hometown of New York & they are doing absolutely nothing. He's a cancer to a team. Great individual player but basketball isn't one on one!!!!

What up Big E? Wow i think right now it'd have to be Dirk Nowitzki.

Stephon came in with a lot of hype but as you pointed out he's never been the #1 option in anywhere he's played.

He is most definitely one of the most over-payed and underachieving athlete (along with his backcourt mate- Steve "Franchise").

That being said- Dirk is the MVP and yet when his lack of ability to close out games puts him in consideration of trade talks and have pro analysts saying that they Mavs might be better without him- you'd have to say that the guy considered the best player in the league- shouldn't be thought of in this light.

In terms of who is more detrimental to a team it would be Stephon. Dirk is a choker, but Stephon is a cancer.

You already said it, man. Stephon Marbury.

But I don't think people talk about him as a star anymore, so I'm gonna go with the most overhyped player in the league- Dwayne Wade. Now I know I'm gonna hear a lot about this, but I don't think he's all that. Yes, he played well in the playoffs the finals before last, but it helped that the referees sent him to the free throw line if someone breathed on him. Yes, he's a good player. He could play on my team any day. But he'll never match the production he had in the playoffs of 06, and never live up to the hype that he created for himself.

Marbury is a great choice, but I still give it to Kobe because some of these idiots are calling him the greatest player ever. What nonsense!

mos is retarted.... lebron is a lot greater suitable than kobe... consistent with probability thats why kobes at homestead, attempting to income the medias interest by ability of threatening to bypass away, then changing his strategies, and blaming the entire incident on the human beings who pay him...??? guy, you gotta remember however, vince has an incredible burst in direction of the basket. its why lots of large defenders play decrease back on him, and enable him take jumpers in the previous they enable him force. If the guy gets close to the basket, the balls goin in. Mines gotta be kobe. Hes have been given the dumbest followers.... the theory-approximately being puffed up is being given greater credit than you deserve, which kobe is the walking definition of that observe... "terrific scorer EVER", different than he shoots a decrease proportion than the different maximum appropriate scorer EVER! which ability all he does is takes greater pictures.... that doesnt make him a robust scorer... it makes him a ballhog.... "he can play superb protection", different than hes been crossed by ability of even the biggest scrubs interior the league, and it keeps to take place year in and year out.... why is he even while in comparison with mike, i dont see kobes "shielding participant of the year" award..... do you? "he can bypass and shoot!", different than hes in no way carried out the two interior a similar recreation..... practice me a triumphing line the place kobe gets 35+ on 50%+ from the sector, with 8+ assists...... ill practice you a minimum of 10 of them from jordan.... i will probable practice you a minimum of 7 from one season on my own.... Kobe can do ONE or the different, yet no longer the two....

LeBron. He's a superstar-to-be, but we all saw that nonsense in the Finals. I don't think his work ethic and instinct is as strong Kobe's or KG's. Marbury's good, but I don't consider him a team player. Only a few guys in the league can win ON THEIR OWN, and he isnt't one of them.

Lebron James.

Steve Nash. He plays in this play ground offense that allows him to have "PlayStation" like stats. Be it not for that he's the average player.

He does not possess one defensive skill whatsoever.
He has played 779 career games and averages 0.8 steals over that time.
Second and third string guard drop double-doubles on this guy.
