O.K. SOOOOOO the reason I was freaking out was because I read that Girl betta's can get pregnant (or "develope" eggs) just by seeing the male Betta! I don't put them in the same tank, I just put the tanks side by side. HELP!!

She can and if she's in good condition she will, even if she doesn't see a male. It's nothing to worry about as she will not have babies without mating with the male and it won't harm her at all.

From personal experience... Do not put them in the same tank ever! There is a reason they are not tanked together at the store -ever. They do ok with other fish most of the time, but if you put two bettas together of any sex... one will dominate and kill the other -slowly... it is sad. I have only heard once of someone putting two together and having it work, but I think that is super super rare. Unless you are ready to 'kill' one, because that would be what you are doing if you tank them together, then I wouldn't try it. Even if she developes eggs, it won't hurt her at all. If she does and you see them in the tank, swap them and let the male fertalize them. But don't tank them together or one will die.
Baby fishes are fun, but very delicate. If you do swap them into eachothers tanks, just give a lil time for the male to fertalize and then put him in yet another separate tank. That way he doesnt eat the eggs. Which grossly enough.. that is what the female will usually do also.
Good Luck!!!

ditto to mm here, but I'd like to add a side note. If you house them seperate, but he can see her, you're liable to stimulate him to build a bubble nest thinking it's time to breed. You can also influence the breeding stimulation by diet. Giving your Betta's high protien diets will help to condition them for breeding, and if this is unwanted, then cut back on bloodworms, and krill, and brine shrimp. Don't keep them in range for the male to see her.

All female bettas do produce eggs when they get to a certain age but you would still need to put them together to spawn and the male would need to fertilize the eggs. (If you do plan on breeding your bettas please read up on it )

Most people say that's some kind of wives tale, but just to be safe, try to put them in seperate rooms, I've heard of one wives tale, that if you touch a baby bird, other birds will avoid it because it smells weird, and it is true, so, just to be safe, keep their tanks in different rooms.

They can develop eggs, but there is no way that they will be fertilized. No need to worry.
