One feminist in particular hates to be called a FemiNazi because her family was killed in WW2 yet she compares me to the KKK when I have Black genes. She even called a friend a white privileged male when he also has multiple genes from different races. They even went as far as making moar accounts to support their point of view and calling me a White something! Why do they make assumptions about others to try to make them look bad to the point of cloning them to try and silence them? Why can't they accept the fact that men don't have it better everywhere? How does that make me a White supremacist? 4 times as many men die of suicide. Just read my answer as well as the others: http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ak0ClxY04CCJm0X2NUK1PNfBFQx.?qid=20070623105151AANIlKq&show=7#profile-info-XPvnA6AOaa
And for those who blame me for reporting them, the last person I reported was someone who I now consider a friend and that was like around a week ago. (She know who she is.)
So why do some feminists feel the need to try and degrade those who speak about Men’s Rights?

Jasumi, hun I have read my answer. I addressed unfair stuff. I critique the feminist movement, I don't bash it (anymore). Plenty of feminists have critiqued the movement and still called themselves feminists. Relax honestly. I take it back, you're not a troll (anymore). Can we stop with the attacks now? k? thanks.

Forgive me, but I'm not quite certain to whom you are referring. I might have an idea. At any rate, FemiNazi is an awful term. If you must put someone into a sect of feminism, try one of these:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminism
Choose one from the shaded box on the right side of the page.
Anyway, you do sometimes come across as abrasive, which might be what angers her. However, no one should resort to degradation.
P.S. Hahaha! That was the first time I've ever been reported.

Calling anyone "Feminazi" is deplorable in todays's society. I can't think of a single culture where the women have more rights and freedoms than men. The majority of law makers and enforcers are men, and women must live with the concequences of their decisions.
As for black or white, until we can get past the color of skin each of us has, we will never be able to get past the issues or male or female. We both have our place in society, and must learn to work together, not fight each other on stupid petty issues.
P.S. Why ask a question that could anger people, causing them to answer in a way you may not like, and then report them for it? Seems a little hypocritical to me.

I see basically two kinds of feminists out there - those that want equal rights and those that want revenge and/or superior rights. I support the former but not the latter.
Perhaps the problem lies in the words we use. The movement shouldn't be called 'feminism' at all - it should be called 'humanism' and then we could bring more men on board and get down to the real goal of creating a level playing field. (different but equal - vive la difference)

Listen, as soon as you simply accept the fact the SOME women just don't like men, you'll have an easier time with all of this "silliness". What do you care what she thinks of you? If the shoe fits, wear it. If it doesn't, then don't wear it unless you enjoy feeling the pain of ill-fitting shoes on your feet! There are also many men who don't like the outspoken women who are using this site. Some people have trust issues. That's what makes the world go around. Don't give up your life just because someone speaks about you in a negative manner. That just gives them the power that they are looking for! I suggest that you take a deep breath & get yourself a glass of water & as you swallow the cool liquid, imagine that you are a large mammal who is swallowing this small creature who seems to be in your path for a reason! FOOD 4 THOUGHT! Not ALL women think alike, nor do the men of our species. Enjoy life.

You might just as well ask the question: why are some people kind of touchy and difficult to speak with on sensitive issues?
This has nothing to do with feminists. Some people are difficult to argue with, some aren't. Some remain mature and amicable, some don't.
Calling someone a FemiNazi is the kind of immature name-calling that is designed to provoke an emotional, angry response. So.. pot, meet the kettle. ;)

It is difficult to sort out the real men's rights activists from the privileged white males who think that having to pay child support is "oppressive". However, it is also difficult to sort out the real feminists from the privileged, white women who think that choosing to study more than 50% male authors in lit courses is also "oppressive".
I disagree with the trend to consider "Black Pride" trendy while anyone who has any "European Pride" is immediatly a redneck. I was roundly told off once for referring to my kids as "tough little Vikings" - a guy who overheard me started ranting at me and called me an "Aryan b**ch". Considering that my husband is Jewish, I was a little shocked. But I do see that there is a difference between people who are incredibly blessed and have plenty of rights already complaining to anyone who will listen, and people who are actually interested in defending the interests of a particular group that they belong to. I already know that you're in the latter group, but others may not at first glance.
I find that many of the women who refer to all men as "privledged white males" tend to have grown up surrounded by actual rich white men - it gets very tiresome to hear "free riders" (college paid for by Daddy? Isn't that sweet of him?) complain of the deep-seated oppression that women of the leisure class suffer. Betty Friedan had an upper-middle class background, a college degree and a maid - but we all know how terrible her life was, right? Not ALL feminists who will come out and attack you for this fall into that category, but many do.

The short answer is immaturity, lack of confidence, anger and wavering conviction. Some are out right men haters and use the feminist movement as a sanctioned forum to lash out.

Most of the people who do speak out about men's rights waste their time blaming feminists for all their problems. I would like to see a men's-rights activist who is more interested in working with us than against us.
