Cute- somewhat young looking. not one you'd think lustfully about. nice face, sweet smile, not much of a body usually. at least, that's not where the focus is. ex. hermione granger
Pretty- basically the same as cute but without the young aspect of it. A sweet look, class, but not quite beautiful. ex. alexis bledel
Hot- typically applies to college age girls. Where body and face are equally good, sometimes body over the face even. Much more concerned with overall, a very high compliment, but not a very classy one. ex. jessica alba
Beatiful- the classy version of 'hot'. good everything, not one you'd think of as going and getting drunk or partying. A very respectful compliment. I cant think of a really great example of this.

Cute doesn't have to be youthful. Cute is someone who has an innocence about them. Real cute does not apply to most girls over age 6. Cute however is a term that is often used to describe clothes and accessories. Pretty is a general term. Pretty would be somewhat attractive depending on who says it. Hot and sexy is someone attractive to the opposite gender and has a good body. A good body= nice butt, ample chest, skinny yet curvy, long legs. Beautiful is someone who has a nice body, nice face, classy, and a good personality. Beautiful inside and out.

Cute: Sweet and young looking. Perhaps a youthful smile and cute little dimples.
Pretty: I'd say pretty much the same thing as cute, with maybe a little beautiful added in.
Sexy: This has more to do with having a sensual, enticing attitude than anything. Bold dress, body language and facial expressions are helpful.
Not: Paris Hilton. She could be considered sexy, but her attitude turns me off bigtime.
Beautiful: My girlfriend. Anyone with a great smile, great attitude, and takes care of her body and/or mind.

On the sophistication scale, beautiful is the most sophisticated, cute is the least and pretty is in between. And cute implies young, at least to me. When people say someone is beautiful, they tend to sound more awestruck. Just my opinions. You meant "hot," right? I think hot and sexy are basically the same.

the only difference is the one saying the "word" because a girl can be pretty to one guy, hot to another, sexy to another, and beautiful to another. its basically the mindset of the guy in question. more mature guys will prob say beautiful/gorgeous before pretty/cute(younger guys) or sexy/hot(guys who only want you for one thing)
