actualy no i left my pen chewing days behind me years ago (i have bean known to chew thrugh a mettal pen) this one exploded becouse it ent out in the rain with it in my poket and well it got wet .....

once but it wasn't in my hand it was in my purse. DAM!! that sucked!! i have no idea how it happen but I'm HeLLa traumatized LOL ; )

Happened to me sunday. I'm at a produce market, carrying my baby girl, they don't accept debt cards, I go out get my check book, grab a pen, hike back in, put my baby up on the counter, wrap my arms around her to hold her steady while I write a check and it won't write, then I realize its oozing out the top all over my hand. Then the guy offers me another pen of course I get ink all over it. When he takes it back he wipes it off with a wipe but doesn't offer me a wipe, now I'm covered in ink and so is my baby. But no fuss, she was being cute and sweet, in her little pink shades, everyone was oohing and aaahing over her and how she didn't mind wearing her sunglasses. So they didn't care that I was taking forever.

I was chewing on a jelly pen one time and it exploded in my mouth! that really sucks!!

you think that bad, at work the other day i was wearing a baseball cap (it part of my uniform, and no i don't work at McDonald's), and i put my pen in the gap at the back of my cap and it leaked, i had blue ink all over my hair, my neck and my collar on my shirt, and I'm to young for a blue rinse......and god it took me ages to wash it off!!

Never had one explode on me. Have suffered plenty of leakages after leaving a biro in my pocket.
