The really moronic part is that;
If we had classified them as POWs we could hold them until a cessation of Hostilities and then negotiate thier release. There would be no need to hold hearings until after the "War on Terror" is resolved.
But then we would have to live by the same laws as civilized nations.

I guess you did not notice, all the pressure that is being put on the President to not only release the prisoners but to close down Gitmo.
In reality, they were released because they did not have enough evidence to actually keep them there. So contrary to what we have all be told, the prisoners at Gitmo do actually have rights.

So the Liberal's cry for prisoners rights and to be released, but its the conservatives fault for releasing "terrorists" if you want anyone released chances are if they are in their to begin with they have some tie to extremism.
