I look at them all the time and never have I seen any of our(Politics regulars) questions featured . And just today I answered the one asking for house-cleaning tips . I clicked on it out of curiosity and lo and behold , the asker wasn't even looking for serious answers and said as much !!

So why don't they post any from us ?

Peace Maker - I knew , I just knew someone would ask that without thinking first . . . . I wanted the opinions of the users in Politics not Video Games or Travel

first off, no I don't know anyone who has had a featured question.. secondly.. hello!! it's been a while :) and thirdly.. I would guess it is because of the insane turnover rate and sheer volume of questions that come threw this section.

Why would they .
This is just a forum to keep us busy so we do not email or contact our representatives in government . SO much for that Idea I flood them with e-mails .
I bet I am marked as spam and deleted before I am even read .

We get to vent here if we wish or ask silly questions that no one takes seriously .
When was the last time you heard someone site in the media Today a YA user asked why Cheney appears to be above the law and one person said its because no one will drag him from his office kicking and screaming to the closest tree and hang him for treason .

Because in other areas there really ARE experts. This is mostly hyperbole, like a bad political campaign ad, and, with some exceptions, badly written, to boot! I would have hoped legislation coming up on the hill would be a topic here. Most of this stuff is like listening to some cliche radio show, without, much talent! "Conservative" v "Liberal" stuff.

Earnest. I think we need to have a bet on this site when the first conservative will have a question featured on the site either an actual contributor or one of their questions from a leader (Pelosi)

No. All the featured questions seem to be about trivial matters. I gave up expecting anything reasonable from Y!A. I just come here & answer questions.

I just always thought they were fake questions. To entice people to join Y!A. I never took them to be actual questions that have been posted.

BTW: Which one of your Rock-n-Roll questions. Would you want featured in Yahoo? I'm votin' for Loco-Motion!

Yea you. I once answered one of your musical questions and you picked mine as the best answer but that was about 5 IDs ago. I think it was a CCR song and you started the one phrase and I finished it.

I agree with the second poster. Most questions posted on Y!A Politics are too nonsensical and offensive to be featured.

I know one person who had her question featured on Yahoo but she is from the parenting section. I don't know anyone from here.
