Our dog thinks he's human; one of our cats can't decide if he's a cat, a lion, a dog, or a monkey; & one of my betta fish thinks he's a dolphin.
Interesting household I live in.....good thing I'M sane! LOL!

Funny you should ask. My daughter's cat seems to think she is a dog (or a Queen....she can't decide). Maybe because she has been raised with three dogs...she is very UN-cat like (she is very loyal towards my daughter - follows her everywhere, is obediant - comes when called and answers back when talked to),

Haha, My dog thinks she's a human. She gets insanely jealous when I spend time with my cat or when I'm with another person. She won't leave my side when we're indoors and tries to spoon with me at night. It's cute but slightly weird.

not my pets but my neighbor's family has such identity crisis.
her son thinks he is a dog & her daughter can't decide if he's a cat, a lion, a dog, or a monkey & her baby thinks he is a dolphin.

My brother's dog thinks she is a shark.
I'm not kidding either.
My cats act like 2-year-old human babies. At least I have an idea of what I'm in for if I ever have kids!

When I was a kid, I had a Chesapeake Bay retriever that SMILED. She wasn't growling or anything like that. She smiled at her humans when they got home from work and school because she was excited to see them. Dog see, dog do, I suppose.
Mandy, my mom's tea cup poodle does that to her leg! Isn't that weird. I thought maybe she was the only female humping dog or something!

I know exactly what you mean! My cat thinks it's a dog. We bought him these squishy balls you can throw and we will throw it for him and he'll fetch it and bring it back and want use to throw it again. He also chases his tail and other stuff! But mainly the fetching!

Our female dog thinks she is a male...always humping the other female dog that visits us....and our Chihuahua thinks she is a Pit Bull...lol. That's all though.

OMG yes..I have three cats and the one will eat dry cat food and no wet but only human food, the other will only eat cat food and no human food and the othe rwill not eat cat food only human food. and my ferret thinks he os a cat.
