what are the main requirments for a design school? im a currently a freshman and i have a 3.6 GPA

Are you a freshman in high school or in university? That's the first requirement to know. If you are in high school you will need math up through Algebra II, art (several kinds), drafting and computer assisted design, foreign language (especially Spanish) would be helpful.
The main thing you need to be doing is creating a portfolio. Art and Design schools tend to care a lot less about g.p.a. than they do what work you have done, in a variety of areas.
An internship would also be very useful, so try and obtain a summer position in an area that you intend to go in to.
