x^2 y-16y+48-3x^2=

group the terms this way:

x²y - 3x² - 16y + 48 =
x²(y - 3) - 16(y - 3) =
(x² - 16)(y - 3) =
(x + 4)(x - 4)(y - 3)

x^2y-16y+48-3x^2=x^2(y-3)-16(y-3)
=(y-3)(x^2 -16)=(y-3)(x+4)(x-4). answer
