Here is why I ask this question I am a conservative I have supported policies of George Bush and republicans in the past, when I conclude they are not doing what is in the best interest of the nation I am not afraid to rip them a new one (ie the immigration bill) true conservatives are not afraid to critisize our own.

Here is what I don't see on yahoo or in the TV media never a critisism of the Democats or their policies I can,t believe that most democrats are happy with the perfomance of their party and if not why the silence is being a good follower more important than being objective?

No, the focus has been on Bush and the Republicans because they are the ones who have been screwing America, recently. I guarantee you if a Democrat had pulled the loathsome crap Bush has, I would have criticized him or her, long ago.

I don't consider it my party, but yes I'm not just disgusted with the neocon Republicans in Congress and this administration but the Democrat neocons as well.

You're wrong because I've never been hesitant to criticize both Clintons for their actions--and many of the Democrats for not standing up against fascism and right-wing attacks. They seen to content with being complacent wimps. Many feel betrayed by Kerry for accepting a supposed Bush win even though so many votes were not even counted yet.

First of all you have broken the sacred 11th commandment.
Tho shalt not speak ill of a fellow republican.
Obviously you don't pay a lot of attention to the real world.
It was best said by the humorist Mark Twain,"I do not belong to an organized political party, I'm a Democrat". In reality we Liberals eat our young in the process of trying to do the right thing. Republicans eat the young of others in the process of making a buck.

I would say you have never talked to a true democrat if that is how you feel. I'm betting you are one of those people who believe the media is ultra liberal.. so if you don't trust it as a reliable source for some issues why do you trust it at all? You are in America.. the media is what sells.. nothing more, nothing less.. so my advice would be to set out to talk to as many people with viewpoints that differ from your own as you can and decide for yourself. As for me personally.. if you were to meet me or spend much time talking with me you would soon find that I am far from a follower. Now, on the flip side of this I also feel that has nothing to do with the fact that I am a Democrat... it is just who I am and I find that most people in the world.. regardless of their political affiliation.. are followers.

I strongly disagree with you. Democrats and liberals are not the followers it is the opposite. If you are paying attention, not just to Fox or conservative hate radio, but to a variety of sources from all view points you will find a majority seem to thing George W. Bush is doing a terrible job. He is not doing what is in the best intrest of the nation but he is doing what he thinks is in his and his corporate sponsors best interests.

Each of us sees the world through different filters. Your filters happen to be different than most people's filters. But you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

Nope, I am a Democrat that voted for GW last time. My party didn't have a candidate as far as I was concerned and I wanted George to have a chance to clean up his own mess. Looks like that was wrong. And Nikki, I have to disagree with you. Reagan had the lowest IQ of any sitting president.

Ok, Mr Taco, is using the Daily Shop as a source. Seriously?? Maybe he should try getting his news from David Letterman. His Top 10 lists conatin very insightful information.

On to your question. It is an ignorance that stems from years of mind warping public education. When you live a life with no core beliefs. You are able to flip flop on anything that feels good at the moment. Hence their leaders look like gods for never holding a solid stance on anything.

Never a criticism of Democratic leaders, well now, past Democratic Presidents and leaders would love to differ with you! Clinton was eviscerated by the press, Carter slammed by the media, LBJ, well, wow, he declined a second term, JFK was aghast at the press, ...

You support George Bush that is your choice. I support Liberals that is my choice. When it gets to where you can't support your party without someone tries to stick George Bush down your throat has a very bad problem. You may support George Bush , why aren't you over there supporting his war , fighting in his war for him.
George Bush in my books is the sorriest no good person that was allowed to steal not one but 2 elections. He is the dumbest , ignorant, stupid, immoral, no common sense , can't write or spell, can't even learn to ride a bike without training wheels, lowest IQ of any sitting President. You support that and I'll support my scholar President that has the largest IQ of any sitting President. Take yours against mine , what do you have one big pile of nothing on your preference.

You must not be looking very hard. I see criticism on tv for the Democrats all the time. Even The Daily Show, one of the most liberal of liberal shows, pokes fun of the Democrats regularly. Lots of Democrats are unhappy right now, but the alternatives right now are worse. Like they say: the Republicans are a party of bad ideas, and the Democrats are a party of no ideas.
