Big Pisano- just got b*tch slapped by Nacho earlier, and now you want to try again? Ok, its your decision.
Coulter is great at what she does. She criticizes left and right (mostly left though) politicians and calls a spade a spade. To critcize her for what Bill Maher, John Stewart and Letterman do nightly is way off base. It was Maher that said he wished a certain republican to die in a plane by terrorist attack, Coulter just resaid it using Edwards as an example of hypocrisy! No lefty came out agaist Maher for originally sayig it, only criticized Coulter for resaying it. Bunch of Hypocrites here! The F*g word was in response for Isiah Washington having to go to rehab for calling co actor one. the media only picks up on "Coulter called Edwards a f*g" and never reported in what context it was used. I think she is brilliant, Coulter for President!!

If I had known that you were a Coulter fan I wouldn't have wasted my time making you look silly in the question I asked. Coulter is at the very very far out of sight bottom of all the conservative talking heads. Yes, that is below Bill-O, below Hannity, below Rush, and below Savage. To call Coulter a satireist insults actual satire like the Colbert Report. Al Franken is satire. He uses things Ann has never heard of like intelligence, wit, facts, and actual humor. Ann takes low blows on a consistent basis to get the scum of the conservative base (before everyone gets all offended there is the extreme scum on both sides) all riled up and excited. Your ignorance on a variety of political and social issues have caused me to waste too much of my time today, man. Maybe you can find some small victory in that.
Ohh Brian. You have really given me a laugh today. But you have also allowed me to remember the very true saying, "fighting on the internet is like the special olympics, whether you win or lose you are still retarded". To bicker with you any more while you spout things that might have happened while I talk about actual factual things is really a waste of time. I'm going to give this thread a break for a while and get back to things like getting laid, working full time, and not being socially retarded. I'll let you know how it goes.

Since your question is incorrect, can we assume that you acknowledge that facts do not help your cause? Mrs. Edwards asked Ms. Coulter to stop the personal attacks, not the political ones. If Anne Coulter has any valid points to make regarding Edwards' stands on issues or political history, fine, let her make them. But, judging by her comments, she is unable to do so, having to stoop instead to bitter invective. Elizabeth Edwards is simply asking Coulter to do her job, and try to be a decent human being, both things it seems are impossible for Coulter to do.

Get your facts straight, don't just make them up like a democratic congressman. Liz asked Ann to stop the Personal assaults not political.

Brian is awesome! he nailed it - take it all out of context, and Coulter is all bad. Again, it it were the coming from the left, it would be alright . . . I don't get it Nacho - these liberals . . . the only reason they do not like her is because she is Republican and calls the liberals on their sh*t . . . that's why they dislike all of them . . . O'Reilly, Hannity, Rush, Savage . . . it's okay for the left to call the right names, and make personal attacks, but once someone on the right does, they come undone. It's scary . . . just look at the answers you are getting. Look at the personal attacks that are being made by some of these "intelligent" responders . . . I need a drink!

There is a difference between satire and crude personal attacks--one which Coulter and her apologists aparently don't have enough class to figure out.
What Coulter did is not political commentary--it is merely derogatory name-calling. And, BTW, whatever else she is, she's certainly not an "analyst."

I don't find it ridiculous. Ann is incredibly rude and she doesn't make sense half the time. To me, she is sooo phony. She says controversial things to make a buck at the end of the day. If Imus got fired for his comment, why on earth should this one still be around after her comments about Edwards and their dead child. I am all for free speech, but leave the dead alone please.

Ann Coulter said she hopes John Edwards gets killed in a terrorist attack. that was a few days ago.
A few years ago she said John Edwards rides around with a bumper sticker that reads "Ask me about my dead son."
The Edwards lost a child. This is low and unforgiveable.
It's one thing to be a political analyst and lean right or left, that's not the issue. The issue is Ann Coulter personally attacking John Edwards and others. Most people are sick of it. It does nothing but stir up angry emotions and sell books for Ann. If you saw the confrontation you'd realize who the moral victor was. Ann could only mutter nonsense and she looked pathetic.

I think what Edwards really was saying was not for the viper to stop the comments.. but perhaps not be quite so dirty and ugly with them. There is no reason.
Any good political satirist can write satire and make comments without being plain mean and caustic.
But what can you expect from Coulter.. she is a sub human.. and I am being kind. I used to give her the benefit of the doubt.. but now I realize she is just one horrible unhappy human being.. and I use the term lightly.
Elizabeth Edwards is a lady.. Coulter is scum.

The worst part is that the lefties are mischaracterizing what Ann actually said. I happened to actually be watching the exchange Monday and what she said was not that John Edwards needs to be killed by terrorists, but that instead of calling him a fag@ot, perhaps she should take a cue from Bill Maher and say that he should be killed by terrorists (alluding to Maher's somewhat misconstrued remarks about terrorists bombing Dick Cheney).
