My dad is 67 years old and still considers himself a badass lol. He's not scared of anything (I'm pretty sure it's due to stupidity) and he would fight like hell for something he believes in. I've only seen one person take a swing at my dad and they lost a pretty good share of teeth and blood. He always told me to never be the one who started the fight because nobody likes that person. But to never back down to anyone. I always believed that...but my principal in high school wasn't too fond of our outlook on fighting :) But he was scared of my dad too so he didn't say much.

My dad was a real bad-***. Drove a car for 'insurance collectors' back in the 30's. Called them his mafia days. Then got caught stealing a car for a job for the 5th or 6th time. One dark night in Detroit the judge had it with him gave him 2 choices prison or WWII. He joined the Navy for a few years, was a real bad a** there to....one night him & his buddies got some poor Polish solider drunk and had the American Flag tatooed on his chest. I am sure that guy is dead now.
My Dad did end up being a wonderful husband & father with some pretty colorful stories to tell. May he rest in peace.

Was and is. Best advice dear old dad ever gave: "Son, walk away from any fight, but never run." That dude can still put a nose through the back of a head, and he's 67.

Yep. He was an artist (painted murals and later became a tattoo artist), a biker (born to ride), a steel worker, loved exotic birds and his dogs. Only thing missing was his strength to be there for his kids. He believe he was no good when people told him he wasn't. He shouldn't have ever listened to them.
He died too young, and should have taken the chance to know us regardless of what hypocrites thought.

I would say so. He lived through Vietnam, went A-wall to see my brother be born, was captured and sent to prison for 6 months for going a-wall, lived through that.
On top of all that after 10 years of being addicted to beer and vodka, he kicked that nasty habit 1 month ago and is still sober.
My dads the baddest of bad asses.
YOU ROCK DADDY, and I love you. I only wish you had a computer so you could read this. xoxo from your daughter.

No! Everyone liked my dad. He did some stupid stuff but not enough to be considered bad ***. Get drunk with friends and wrecked his 68' Camro. I have an uncle now that would be considered bad ***.
