you people are disturbed, anyone who wishes ANYONE to burn in hell needs to be sterilized because to wish eternal suffereing and torment onto someone is absolutely disgusting and i dont care what the person did, NO ONE deserves to burn in Hell.
Chris either killed his family because he was mentally ill, or he had and absolute mega steriod rage that lasted an entire weekend.
Mentally ill people do not deserve to burn in hell do they? is it their fault?
and what if it was steriods? does everyone who abuses drugs deserve to go to hell? the result of this case, if it was steriods, was extremely bad but that does not mean it was intentional.
What do you people think, that Chris woke up friday morning and thought to himself " i think im going to murder my family today, yeah that sounds like fun"?
Stop judging him like you know what happened. we dont even know the details, for all we know it wasnt even Chris. maybe someone else did it and he killed himself when he came home...

and found out. we do not know thats not true, and it doesnt matter, no one deserved to burn in hell.
you people are monsters that cant understand that no one deliberatley kills their family, and IF he could have did it on purpose, that is so unlikely and unknown how can you assume he did, and put Hell on him?

THANK YOU! I AGREE WITH YOU 100%. I'm upset with people who disrespect Chris Benoit by saying that they wish he burns in hell. you are completely right! And did you know that the steriods in his house were his sons because his son has a disease? (I forget which disease but it makes him semi-autistic.) This whole event is truely a tragedy, and I don't think we will ever know what really happened.

Apparently he had a history of beating his wife. That's not a good thing really is it? Regardless of whether or not he took steroids or was mentally ill. In either case he could have looked for professional help but it would seem that he didn't.
In the end he murdered his family.
Personally, as an atheist I don't believe in heaven or hell.
I will add this though. As a wrestler I did truly respect Chris as his popularity wasn't about gimmicks or microphone skills. It was all about ability. I can't say as I have any respect left for a man like that anymore.
I feel sorry for the families, the friends though. Can't be easy for them to come to terms with this.
Maybe people should think about them and offer them sympathy rather than try to defend a murderer or the system that failed him and drove him to it.
Chances are we'll never know what drove Chris to do what he did. It's just another sad chapter in wrestling.

Considering the information out there, indications are that Chris did this. Assuming that is true, it was likely the result of the steroid use, which he took fully knowing the possible consequences. If he killed his own child after leaving the boy's mother dead in the house for a day, he does deserve to go to hell. Everyone who abuses drugs and commits a heinous crime in the process, deserves to go to hell. News stories indicate that this is not the first evidence of domestic abuse by Chris. He then, had a chance to get help. You're correct that we may not know all of the facts, but God does, and he will be the judge and jury of Chris...but you can't expect folks to not be angry about the loss of an innocent child under these circumstances.

I was with you for the most part until your last paragraph. The police have pretty much revealed that they are 100% positive that he did it. The evidence is all there, even if they have yet to release all the details. It is all but a fact that he murdered his family. Mentally ill or not, it is horrendous. Does he deserve to burn in hell? Perhaps not for the reasons you give, but the fact is that there are treatments for mental illness, and the possible side effects of steroids are widely documented. So he is still responsible for his actions. He could have received treatment for any mental illnesses, and he could have chosen not to take steroids. You may be right that is it not right to judge him, but that doesn't make him a hero like some people are acting. It is that wave of pro-Benoit hero-treatment that a lot of people are reacting against. Mentally ill or not, if someone murders their family, how can you expect anything different?

These events happened over the course of Three Days without police being alerted. The Police have acknowleged that he was home during the time period and that he is their main suspect. I am sure there was some sort of note describing what had happened.
But now you curse people out for telling him to burn in hell... That isnt right because not all people believe in the same religion as you. I am atheist and i find your argument very repulsing purely for that fact that you try and push you belief in the eternal suffering on others. I think religion is something people have to make up for themself and if these people want to say it then let them. We have freedom of speech in this country and if you dont like it then go back to Russia you communist!

The guy killed his wife and 7 year old son, I think that is a pretty good reason to wish someone to burn in hell. His family had to suffer and so should he. Like someone else said you are just looking for a reason to make yourself feel better for still liking the guy.

This event is criminal, and it emotion people are responding to here. I think its great people believe in hell in this very hedonistic society, though the way the news reads I doubt it. Society is becomming alienated in that we have more $, but the stress levels are off the charts. Mental and anxiety issues are not even on the radar and yet the heinous children killing children acts, and all the rest are in our faces daily. God help us to care for one another and turn to prayer and mercy.

He was disturbed, something was wrong. He needed help and didnt get it in time. Maybe people need to point fingers to those pushing him so hard? Has anyone looked at the WWE for any pressure they put on him, and a blind eye turned to his issues?
Regardless, a family is no longer on this earth, and their friends and families are grieving. What right do we have to point any fingers at anyone? Unless, of course, someone out there was a witness and knows exactly what happened?

let's put itthis way, so far, I pity the guy, even though his mental condition was self inflicted...
HOWEVER,
if the toxicology reports come back that he was, indeed, injecting his son with steriods & growth hormones as has been hinted in news articles due to needle marks found by the coroner in Daniel, his son's, arm...then the guy deserves to rot somewhere

What don't you understand? He was a monster!
He KILLED His family, WIFE and CHILD, dead.... he MURDERED them...... he STRANGLED his wife and the new reports that he put a CHOKE HOLD on his son and strangled him.
It's not a hard concept to grasp, mentally ill or not, why people want him to burn in hell.
