ok, i'll bite.
On what should titantic 2 be based upon? Please tell me. Does the ship resurrect itself, like the flying dutchman in p.o.c 3? the dead come back to life? Please do tell me.
The 1st one was pretty self explanatory to me. The boat sails, hits an iceberg, boat sinks, people die very few survivors.

There was an idea floating around to reunite Jack and Rose but I don't think it was anything that was seriously considered. From what I remember the story goes that Jack somehow survived, went into some war where he is wounded and ends up being treated by Rose, who is now a nurse. The love story was to continue from here. Obviously it wouldn't have been called "Titanic 2".

I think if Titanic 2 was made, it wouldn't be as good as the original... obviously...
Oh, but there ARE fake trailers on youtube for Titanic 2... but the plot doesn't seem as interesting to me....

no! there should not be a titanic 2. the story was epic and the movie done wonderfully, and what would the plot line be? the titanic sank-its over. jack dawson died, accpet that. leo and kate are doing another movie together though, and kathey bates is going to be in it too. i'm looking forward to it.

What for? After the boat sinks, the survivors go home, the builders get a spanking in the subsequent inquiries, and everyone learns some lessons about safety at sea. What reason is there to make a sequel?

Well it could be done - as a prequel. The lives of Jack and Rose leading up to their eventual meeting on the ship.
Jack - living by his wits and struggling to become an artist
Rose - growing up privileged but struggling to become her own woman and not what it expected of her.
To start something after the ship sank and we know that Jack dies would just be ridiculous.

it would be good if they were both younger and jack ended up living. but rose is to old now. i dont think they would be able to, even if they wanted. unless it was about the crew that helped find the titanic or something. lol.

how would you make a Titanic 2? its not going to sink again and they sure aren't making another ship with that name. besides, the 2 main characters are dead.
