Elizabeth Edwards calls Ann Coulter out for her childishness. So what?

I cannot believe that there are people in a normal society who would defend the ignorant words of Ann "penis-envy" Coulter. and When E. Edwards decides to defend her family (husband included) people shoot her husband (and her) down?

America, what happend to family? sticking together? If anyone did the same thing to my husband or any of my family members, they WILL hear from Jahpson!

please lay off, bashing Edwards for his beliefs in personal hygiene is getting really old. thanks

Nice question and great post!!! Elizabeth Edwards did the right thing bringing it to an open forum and asking politely for her to stop her insipid attacks. Thumbs up for her, thumbs down for Ann Coulter as usual.

What credibility has Ann Coulter left? The only decent thing she could do is to seek treatment for anger management. The more she talks, the more she appears as a frustrated spinster who desperately needs some guy to comfort her in bed!

i watched the interview in which Elizabeth Edwards called-in, she's a couragous woman! Unlike Ann Coulter, Elizabeth has class, she handles herself better than Ann ever would. She defended her family and that's something that should be respected.

People respond poorly to Edwards' wife calling a TV morning show for several reasons.

The most obvious one is that it makes him look pathetic to have his wife sticking up for him in the first place like that. Is his wife going to do the same during a war?

The second reason is that her attacks on Edwards are meaningful and true. Edwards opens himself up to personal attacks by the hypocritical way he chooses to live his life. He complains about there being "two Americas" while he lives in ia 29,000 sq. ft. mansion. He speaks about saving the world from global warming. How does that sit with his use of private jets and powering his megaplex of a home? I don't even have time to speak about his career as a parasitic lawyer...

I did notice that the people applauded Mrs. Edwards as she called in to the Fox News show while Ms. Coulter was there. We should stand up for what we think or else who will be there for us when we need an advocate.

John Edwards has made a total fool out of himself, accepting a half-million dollars from an investment firm to "study poverty" for six months, when the truth is he could have gone to his neighbors in the trailer park down the street and got his lessons from his own neighbors who have never met the man. The salary is clearly and obviously a political contribution to the 2008 Edwards campaign.

Ann's only sin is pointing that out.

This shows you the liberals have incredible control over the press to generate sympathy for themselves and get votes.
