Is it really as bad they say it is in there?

It is always way too cold or way to hot; when it is hot it stinks. You have to use a communal shower and toilet...most of the people are super nasty/dirty so just imagine.
The food is horrible even the worst cafeteria or hospital food taste better than that garbage and never drink the kool-aid
You have to wear ugly over-sized jumpers w/ nasty flips other people have put there grubby feet in and sleep on hard nasty bunk beds or just the cement seats.
Horrible place to be but no I have never been just like crimes are never actually committed they are just accused

I havent known anyone that has gone to jail and i never have.

Cook County jail (Chicago) is very bad. Almost like prison.

I've been to jail. I was taken in with my best friend.
She just about cried the whole night... I didn't really mind... my own fault. I thought it was funny, actually. But I definitely learned my lesson.

My nephew just got out of our local jail. It did not sound bad but he's damn lucky he didn't go the Angola State Penitentiary, Louisiana's state pen.

I know someone who has been. He said it was bad, but not as bad as the stories say
