The real truth is, the elitest have figured out a way to control us, and that is through fear. Im sure youve heard the infamous qoute," There is nothing to fear but fear itself." Think about it. They have us all in fear and on our toes. It keeps us, the consumer, consuming. And on top of that by having us in fear of one another we then sacrafice our liberites to gain security. Life is too short to be afraid all the time. Just remember they want all of us to be afraid and they will keep reminding you of all the frightening things out there to ensure you are living in fear.

I feel relatively safe living in America - when I'm not on the highway, that is.

I know the news makes it sound like it's a prime-time cop show out there, with wall to wall drug addicts and violent crime, but the reality is that violent crime has dropped a bit for years now - actualy, now that I think of it, for most of your lifetime.

Of course, there have always been an probably always will be safer and more dangerous areas.

I feel safe. I worry more about the collected sheeple allowing our liberties to be eroded by things such as "political correctness" and the Patriot Act than I do about terrorists.

Terrorists cannot make me afraid of anything.

Yes, I feel safe living in America. I live with a handful of blocks of the US Capitol building and I fear street crime more than a terrorist attack. And I don't fear street crime that much.

It's never a safe place when the actions of your government scare you more than the threat of terrorists.

I have to disagree. Most victims of crime are victimized by people they know and people are responsible for their own safety. 9/11 won't happen again not cause of the troops but cause we secured the airports. You could die in a car crash but you could also die choking on a fish bone during your next dinner.
