Believe it or not, I do not currently have a "junk drawer" in the sense of completely uncategorized stuff. The least coherent of my drawers is probably the one in the credenza that has mailing labels and other office-supply stuff that does not fit in the neat trays in the drawer above.
But give me time; I've only been in this apartment about two months!

batteries
baggies
paper clips
assorted marbles
loose crayons
assorted bolts and screws
scotch tape
rubber bands
soda can tabs
matches
post it notes
pens that don't write
and that is just one drawer

Everything i find around my house that I'm not sure to throw out, even if i don't know what it is or who it belongs to. More often than not someone always comes back to ask for it no matter what it was.
