I'm a girl and I love playing sports. If us girls didn't, we would be marshmellow ladies! (You know, in the Baroque period-around there- women were painted as bloated and fat =marshmellow)
When we play sports it shows that we aren't just mush and that we can do what guys do.

I think it is cool! I mean what if we lived back in the old days were women couldn't do anything!!! Terrible! I thank god that we don't. I am really glad that women get to play sports!
I play basketball! I would love to play softball and Tennis also!

I think that any athlete,regardless of race or sex,deserves to play and be treated as an qual team member,because they are!
Also,I don't think some sports are recognized as much as an actual sport,especially cheerleading.It is one of the intense and physically straining sports.Not to mention that you must have a good mentality and sportsmanship.
Sportmanship is a quality key in any sports,and girls are just as equal as boys! In ANY sport!

My wife played volleyball and basketball from middle school through Div 1 NCAA and my daughter has played softball, basketball and volleyball and will be playing volleyball at Div 1 JUCO.
My 16 yr old son thinks the high school volleyball players are hot ....

Just because your a girl doesn't mean you cant play a sport if you'd like to play it go ahead because women are getting paid and loving their jobs as professional athletes.

I think it is a great idea. I played a lot of sports (soccer, basketball, swimming, horseback riding and track) and I loved it. You have lots of great memories, learn teamwork and values, as well as build confidence and get exercise. I see no reason why anyone shouldn't play sports.

i play ice hockey, and most of the guys ive played with were split. some are like, "ok thats cool." and others are like "this is my territory im gonna give you hell."
nothing could ever stop me from playing.
