Criticism - "That essay was sh1t".
Constructive Feedback - "Ok it wasn't your best piece of work but if you do this, this and this, I think you could really improve your technique for the future."

Constructive feedback is supportive, acknowledges what is good about the work, asks questions, and offers suggestions that are carefully phrased as to avoid "you should" type statements. What are you critiquing?

well, when you do something and someone gives you constructive feedback-they provide you with critisism that allows you to go away and better what it is that you have done and you are able to take something away from the feedback you recieved.

People saying nice positive things usually relating to a situation such as a job interview etc..to hopefully help you learn from it in a similar situation you may find yourself in!

Basically it just means giving advice on how to improve. (for example: 'feedback' is one word)
