No not the same thing, only take Tylenol. Ibuprofen can be harmful to the fetus...If you end up having serious pain your doctor may prescribe you Tylenol with codeine, but no ibuprofen.

No, ibuprofen is too similar to aspirin. It can increase the chances of miscarriage. Go buy some Tylenol.

My midwife told me ibuprofen was fine until 32 weeks. But like Nicole said, not all doctors agree on it. I would call. Another thing is you would be suprised what you can take during pregnancy. Like vicodin, percocet, tylenol 3......

Call your Dr. This is something a lot of Dr.'s don't agree on. Most say just tylenol, though some say ibuprofen is ok until the 3rd trimester. It really just depends on how your Dr. feels about it. Don't be scared to call and ask a nurse!

Absolutely not!!! Ibuprofen is a blood thinner! I was told all I could take was tylenol. If your doctor thought it was okay, he would have told you!

I'm pretty sure you're going to be just fine... There's so many people that take things and what not before they find out they're expecting and have babies that turn out perfectly fine! Before I found out I was pregnant I had a cold and took dimatap and even had a night of light drinking. I'm now 24 weeks and everything looks really good!

They are both pain relievers, but ibuprofen is also an anti-inflammatory and thins the blood. Tylenol is safer during pregnancy. Listen to your doc...

No, Ibuprofen thins your blood. Ask your doctor what pain reliever is ok to take when pregnant.

No - only Tylenol. Everything else can harm your baby & sometime lead to miscarriage because it blocks off the blood flow to the baby.
