i have already tried Verison and I can't get it. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could help.

It sounds like Verizon is your ILEC. If they do not offer DSL at your location, no one else can either because the DSLAM is too far from you or for other technical reasons. I see Lanesville has a population of about 500 so DSL may just not be available for other technical reasons.

Now if you want broadband internet service via a means other than DSL, see if there is a cable tv provider in the area. If so, he would provide it.

DISH Network and DirecTV offer satellite based internet; fairly nice but not as dependable as wired service.

ATT, Verizon, and Sprint offer cellular internet services in much of the country. Maybe one of these can help you.

Local ISPs sometimes offer a wireless connection; there may be someone in your area.
