What I would do is offer my life in exchange of my partner's, as I really don't want to loose her.

Well, since it's only a pretend time traveler, I'd probably just ignore the whole thing.
I never take advice from pretend people.

Try to make life as pleasent as I possibly could for him. Talk with him, take some nice photos, do some nice things together. Just stand by him and be the best I could be for that person.
