I agree with you totally! And I'm a guy, by the way! I don't know why they do it, but it's really irritating! I read a question the other day where someone was asking about TV dinners and one of the answers was "none, that's what stoves and women are for". You just want to reach through the screen and smack them! But on the same token, I think that there are some women who think that they are better then guys. You know how they always say "women are always right" which is a bunch of crap too! I think that everyone is equal and I wish that there were more people that thought that way!

For about the last...oh...3 thousand years or so men have done everything they can to keep women under their thumb. We (women) have been pre-programmed to allow this to continue. It's now becoming apparent that men and women are equals albeit in different ways, but equal none the less. As women we have to make sure that we are not allowing men to think they're better than us. Maybe with some hope our children will be the first generation in which women and men are equal.

Not all men feel that way. A lot of men do because they have been raised that way for centuries. But in the same way, a lot of women think they are better than men.
There are people out there with a condition that causes them to be genetically male but physically female. To me, that is proof that a human being is a human being. We should try to treat each other equally, because genes were meant to help us tell each other apart, not tear each other down.

i dont think im better than woman , I think both sexes definitely have their up and downs. men are stronger , and I wouldn't say smarter , they dont have as much emotion clouding their judgments as women , men think tactically women think more with their hearts. which is why men are usually presidents. but women give life and , make can step up and take care of a situation when us males get to macho like, and try to kill each other.

Well, there are plenty of women who think they are better than men, too. The old line about "sugar and spice and everything nice" versus "snakes and snails and puppy-dog tails" has given way to the domestic goddess syndrome.
No, people are not better or worse than others on the basis of gender. They are better or worse on the basis of moral judgment, intelligence, talent, stuff like that. But those are harder to figure. Gender is obvious. It's much like the racists who are mostly the lower levels of their own race, but can feel superior to somebody by saying, "Well, at least I'm not one of THEM!"

A lot of, actually most, men do, however, I do know plenty of men who respect women and believe they're women's equals.
Most societies encourage this belief, therefore you'll find tons of men with it.

A lot of men who feel that way, say that the bible teaches it. But they are twisting it, the bible teaches that women should be treated with respect and dignity.

Generally, men are stronger and smarter than women. There are of course exeptions, but I think that men know this and it subconsciously leads them to believe they are better.
